After a hard day at the Water department Gildersleeve comes trudging home, shakes the snow from his collar, stamps his feet on the doormat, opens the front door and is greeted by a warm smell that can mean only one thing, cabbage…There was an explosion in the engine room of submarine causing three men to die and six to be wounded and sabotage was suspected. It was not the first US naval ship to be sabotaged and they all had one thing in common, they had all been built in Sag Island shipyard. Lamont decides to investigate he saw this as a way that the Shadow could help his country. |
