Morgan was one of the first comedians that made fun of his sponsors, causing him to lose many sponsors for his radio programs. Morgan had shows on WOR-New York, ABC and NBC from 1940 to 1950.

HENRY MORGAN SHOW, THE

I learned of this show from a very fine interview done with Armold Stang in the early 1970s. The interview included an excerpt of this show, and I was quite taken with what Arnold and the interviewers had to say about it. They all couldn't stop talking about it. They really put the show on a pedestal and rightly so. The scripts were very well done and the comedy was genuinely right on the mark. It is hysterically funny at times. This is a sadly forgotten show that should be remembered. Thank you for providing access to it here!!!
