A very underrated show for me. Love Judy Canova...and Mel Blanc's contributions!!

Ironically enough, Judy's show was probably the first to have actual black people on it. But Geranium is really considered non-PC by today's crowd. Pedro portrayed by the very hysterical Mel Blanc was also non-PC, but he played the character like he played Speedy Gonzales. Their accents are completely identical. The Judy Canova Show should be praised for being more than brave enough to not have an all-white cast. But tell that to the PC police today.

Mel Blanc's character, Sylvester, was exactly the same voice as Sylvester Pussycat from the Warner Bros. cartoons. the Geranium character is certainly cringe-worthy these days, but good grief, she was hilarious
