Plot | : | + CBS Pacific net (Don Lee net). "Death For A Diamond Ring". Sponsored by: Rio Grande Oil. The unidentified body of a man has been found under a bridge. He was wearing monogramed cufflinks. "Chief Jim Davis" of the Los Angeles police department introduces the case. The police chief of Oakland is also heard. They may be the real police officials or (probably) just actors. Near the corner of Bronson and Country Club Drive in Los Angeles a road sweeper finds a hat with a bullet hole in it, and a bloodstained mat from a car in the gutter, which seems to point to a murder. The police are baffled, as the grizzly mat and hat offer no clues save for the initials NFD in the hatband. No one with those initials has recently been reported missing. |
