| Plot | : | + "Fog". Sponsored by: Anchor Hocking Glass. Casey and Ann are invited to a millionaire's estate to photograph the fabulous Baldwin diamonds. Duke Moran has borrowed money from Danny and hasn’t paid it back. Captain Fowler and Danny are on their way to the Anchor Pool Bar where Duke hangs out prepared for a showdown. Captain Fowler is concerned that Danny has a gun and may use it. Then on the way Danny trips over a fire hydrant bumps his head and temporarily loses his memory. Acting defensively towards captain Fowler he disappears into the fog. Later Duke Moran turns up dead and Danny has no recollection of the previous hour. + Ann Williams receives an anonymous tip that an important news story may break at the Telhaven Estate of Willis J. Baldwin tomorrow. A ball is to be held there late in the evening at which Mrs Baldwin will wear her famous diamond necklace, which is purported to be worth over a million dollars. The anonymous letter says that Ann musty arrive there at 6.pm and say nothing to the police, the Baldwin’s or anyone else about the letter. Of course Casey and Ethelbert don’t count. |
