Apparently Staats Cotsworth couldn't make the broadcast, so Casey is "on vacation" and does not appear on the program. + Casey is not actually in this episode as he is away on vacation. Inspector Logan and reporter Anne Williams have the afternoon off and are in the Blue Note Cafe when they decide to go to the beach. On the way Anne wants to stop off at Rodney's Diner so that she can see if her friend young waitress has got her diamond engagement ring from her boyfriend Harold. Mimi is very unhappy as her boyfriend has given her a fake glass ring. However Inspector Logan recognizes the ring as one stolen in an antique jewelry theft. |
