Cloak and Dagger was an adventure radio series of NBC adapted from Corey Ford and Alastair MacBain’s book of the same title. The story ran during the World War II where OSS agents took dangerous missions without any assurance that they may return alive. The director of the show was Sherman Marks and the cast were Everett Sloane, Raymond Jackson Beck, and Edward Johnson. The show only aired from May 7 to October 22, 1950. The series featured spy tales centering around the OSS (The Office of Strategic Services) which became what we now call The CIA. The opening of the program sets the tone for the program, "are you willing to undertake a dangerous mission for the United Stated, knowing in advance you may never return alive?"
