To all intents and purposes “Horse Face” Lon Tilden’s plan by which he hoped to escape the consequences of murdering two cops appeared successful. His pal Arty donned the jeans of a farmer and stayed out of sight completely. Lon himself went through with his idea and in due course occupied a cell in the state penitentiary on a five year sentence for house breaking. |
