Gangbusters Clues: Herbert Paul Jenkins (wanted for murder). Scars on eyebrow, nose, tattoo of "Inez," furrow between his eyes. George Lester Balleau (wanted for robbery): scar on nose, right arm, tattoo of heart with a dagger "Death Before Dishonor." The program is possibly titled, "The Case Of The Well-Traveled Ring." + The military police core of the United States Army is celebrating its 12th anniversary. Throughout the world the uniformed military policeman of the US army has become a familiar site. His job in the army compares to that of the uniformed civilian policeman, to maintain order, direct military traffic, guard important instillations, prevent crime and give assistance and service wherever he can. Within the military police core there are also specialists who perform functions similar to those of detectives of a city police force. These are called criminal investigators. It is their duty under the supervision of the local Provo Marshall to investigate crimes against army personnel and property and to apprehend fugitives in this connection. This case shows in part the work of these important specialists. |
