She gives him instructions to be at the Gladstone Hotel where he meets her father Bill Lafarge. Bill Lafarge wants Regan to spend the weekend with him as a witness, just in case someone needs him to testify how he spent the weekend. Just as they settle in to a game of cards shots come flying in from the alley and Alice Lafarge is killed. |
