Sure enough, the diamonds are stolen, but by somebody else! + George Valentine goes to the little town of La Cruza in Mexico because a man named Pascal VanTyphul wants him to steal something from him, a diamond necklace. Well even as curious and stubborn as George Valentine is he’s beginning to think he shouldn’t have gone. He’s been accused by the manager of the hotel of being an international jewel thief and the police have thrown him in jail because someone reported seeing him molest a woman in a bar. To Top it off Mr VanTyphul congratulates him on doing a masterful job of stealing the $100,000 necklace when he hasn’t even received the note instructing him to do it yet… |
