Perry Mason was a 15-minute radio drama series that aired on CBS Radio on October 18, 1943. It featured different actors—Barlett Robinson, Santos Ortega, Donald Briggs, and John Larkin—as the lead character Perry Mason, a defense lawyer. Mason's secretary Della Street, on the other hand, was portrayed by Gertrude Warner, Jan Miner, and Joan Alexander.

The series was adapted into a television show entitled Edge of Night, which ran for three decades. The radio show ended on December 30, 1955, after over 3,000 episodes. Click here to read more about Perry Mason

Perry Mason is a radio crime serial based on the novels of Erle Stanley Gardner. Broadcast weekdays on CBS Radio from 1943 to 1955, the series was adapted into The Edge of Night which ran on television for an additional 30 years.

This is a terrific series and quality is generally very good. One issues (nothing can be done about them) is the missing episodes and the show is only 10 minutes. Half an hour would have been much better

Featuring all 239 existing programs of this serial crime drama that was broadcast by CBS from 1947 to 1955. The series is based on the novels by Earl Stanley Gardner. Most folk remember the TV show, which featured Raymond Burr as Mason that was telecast by CBS from 1956 to 1966. The radio version was different, as its Mason spent more time investigating crime, rather than trying it in court. The TV version had Mason in court.
