And the kidnapper wants to use him as a money making freak show... The Money Machine Murder case is an unusual one. Philo Vance is quite certain that Snippy Edwards an underworld character was killed because he’d invented a money making machine and the DA office are equally certain that a man named Joe Crane who they have in custody is the killer. Although they have a larceny case against Crane Vance is more interested in proving murder against him so Crane and his girlfriend have been let out on bail and now they don’t know where they are… |
