The Thundering Murder Case opened with the finding of the body of David Wilkins killed during a rainstorm in his apartment. The investigation proved that he was talking to his niece on the telephone, Wanda Taylor, at the time of his death and Mrs Taylor’s husband is missing. Philo Vance believes that Taylor might be an important factor in this case and so does District Attorney Markham but while they are searching for him Sergeant Heath has found the murder gun in Mrs Taylor’s apartment. |
