We find him and Diamond in deep discussion: "Mr. Diamond, the reason you're here is because I want someone to talk to the Mayor. I don't know whether it was explained to you or not, but unless his honor has done away with himself by noon, a lot of people are gonna get hurt". "Including yourself?" replies Diamond. "Oh, that doesn't really matter, you see, in making my escape a guard attempted to stop me and I had to kill him…" |
