After the case, Dick Powell sings, "Don't Blame Me." + Mrs. Van Dyke is at a séance with Dr Langley. Her mother is calling her from the grave, telling her that she is in terrible danger. She must guard herself, to rely and stay close to Dr Langley. But, the séance is just a sham, staged by both Dr Langley and the professor. They want Mrs. Van Dyke to entrust her jewels to Dr Langley, then, once they are in his possession the doctor and professor will both leave the country… |
