Sherlock Holmes was a detective series that aired on NBC Radio and Mutual at various dates from 1930 to 1956. It was based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous novel and character of the same name. Holmes actually has one of the most wonderful histories on radio.

Dennis Green and Anthony Boucher were absolutely the best authors for this series of radio plays. They so encompassed the feel of Doyle and his writing, not like those hacks to wrote later on the series when Mr. Stanley was playing Holmes.

She was the most gifted actress of her time! I loved every movie, she was in and of course she was an excellent mother-in-law in Bewitched! I loved that show! Acting was her forte. She was a natural. Happy Birthday and R.I.P You are sooo missed.
