A pair of ladies' stockings becomes a vital clue. + It is 9:45 on a Saturday night in July 1947 from a drive-in theater three miles out of Texas a boy flags down a kind elderly couple and tells them his car as run out of gas. They agree to give him a lift to the nearest filling station but the boy threatens them with a gun and steals their car. A pair of new stockings left in the back of the car helps the Texas Rangers to track down the perpetrator. |
