| Plot | : | + "The Boomerang". Based on the events of May, 1937. A murder and a body in a lake lead the Rangers to a stock auction and the killer of Roscoe Cryder...or does it? The program marks the end of the 2nd year of the show on the air. + Mrs Hadley goes to Sam White’s place to get her father but Sam won’t let her in telling her that he is as sick of her nagging as her own husband is. Ethel Hadley is annoyed with her father because he’s always giving stuff to Sam and buying him things. She tells her father that he aint giving anyone any more money and next day he is to take all his money to the bank instead of keeping it round the house. He sets off the next day to the bank at 9.30 with $1400 in a tin box but by three in the afternoon he hasn’t returned and Ethel is worried especially knowing her father was upset after all her nagging. The sheriff calls in the Texas Rangers to help search for him. |
