Falcon was a decade-long detective series that aired on Blue Network from 1943 to 1953. It is based on a series of detective movies starring Falcon, the fictional detective created by Michael Arlen (although there are some who believe that the creator was actually Drexel Drake).
The character of Falcon was first featured in one of Arlen’s short stories. He was described as a hardboiled detective who loves adventures. Drake’s character, on the other hand, was called Michael Waring. Lots of Falcon films, nevertheless, featured a guy detective named Gay Falcon. Some films also featured Falcon’s detective sibling Tom Lawrence. After the success of all Falcon films, radio producers decided to make an radio show using the popular character.
The radio character of Falcon was somewhat more similar to Drake’s character than Arlen’s. The show aired over various networks throughout its run.
