| Plot | : | +Johnny's flying in a cargo plane over Alaska with a load of dynamite...when the pilot gets appendicitis! The script was adapted from one used at a convention of airline pilots on March 14, 1958. Johnny Dollar receives a call from Bill Chadwick of the North West Surety Company in Seattle. There was a gold mine he wanted him to take a look at across the border in Alaska but he didn’t need to take his pick and shovel, just his gun.Following act two and before act three at 8:55 there is a very interesting recitation telling the history of the first medals of honor ever given to American soldiers. + Universal Consolidated Mining Corporation is in Alaska across the border from the Yukon and sits at the foot of a big glacier. It has never been a problem but by some freak of nature the glacier is changing course and is set to sweep down over the mine, the town and everything. The insurance company is worried that the mine company may have run out of that rich vein of gold and engineered the glacier move as it seems strange that the glacier which has followed the same path for hundreds of years, is suddenly heading towards well-insured buildings. |
