This is the situation we find on Abroad With the Lockharts, but the real wonder of the show is that the program was able to create an entire European travel experience with just the voices of Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart. Apparently, Gene wrote all or most of the episodes, but it is Kathleen’s wide-eyed adventuresome spirit which sells the situations as she drags her rather reluctant hubby through England, France and Italy.
