The story has also been called, "The Mirror" or, a different program with Norma Shearer was scheduled to be produced this night. In those early years of European conflict vague rumors of atrocities had begun but who could possibly believe in the safety of their homes that soon there would be ashes of men, women and children sifting out of out of the crematoriums. Arch Oboler has written and created this thrilling love story for Everyman’s Theater starring Norma Shearer and with the special symphonic accompaniment of Wagner’s deathless love music Tristan and Isolde. |
