| Plot | : | + "The Golden Touch". An amusing variation on the "King Midas" theme, custom crafted for Mr. Benny's unique persona. The script was previously used on the program on January 17, 1951. + Jack Benny stars as the King obsessed with his gold and counting it. Then the queen and her daughter get a genie to sort the king out. The genie grants the king one wish and the King tells the genie that he can always use more gold and asks that everything he touches will turn to gold. Of course this seems exciting at first until he turns his daughter and everyone else he touches in to solid gold. Perfect part for Jack Benny!
