| Plot | : | + "Stopwatch Finale". A man on death row tells his story during his final hours. Ed Gibson's happy home is ruined by a man who proudly declares he doesn't believe in god. The script was previously used on the program on September 11, 1947 and subsequently on September 3, 1952 and September 1, 1954. + NOTE This recording begins a little jumpy but stick with it, it doesn’t last long and it is a great dramatic story. Edward Gibson was legally tried and condemned to death for committing a murder. He did not believe that there was a god and with only six hours to live he did not want to read the bible or see a Chaplin. Here he tells his story of how he came to commit the murder and finally goes to his death asking god to rest his soul. Host: Robert Young |
