Ed and Tony La Frano remember how Ed made his "radio debut" on the Mutual network twenty seven years ago in 1926 (they must have meant over WOR, Newark, New Jersey, as the Mutual net wasn't formed until 1933). A convict who prides himself on always being up to date makes the perfect jail break...almost. + Ed Sullivan returns as the host of Family Theatre. Jimmy is pacing up and down his cell. He's desperate to break out of jail, but his cell mate is trying to talk him down. He's due to be released in a few weeks, but his time in the slammer wasn't always easy, and he tried once or twice to escape himself. He knows firsthand that it's really not worth it... |
