Jabez Stone is an unlucky farmer who unwisely sells his soul to the devil for seven years of prosperity of all the things he’d ever wanted for his wife and children for seven years. When the seven years are up Mr Scratch - the devil – turns up for his soul but Jabez is not prepared to give his soul and turns to the famous lawyer Daniel Webster to fight his case for him. |
