Spoiler : Apparently there are two surviving episodes of this show. It's incredibly dated but, then, it's over 80 years old. Given that disadvantage, it's surprising how well the show holds up. The pace is slow and the performances are stilted, but it’s a fool's errand to listen to shows like this purely for entertainment value. For most of us, this is a world we can only imagine. The basic premise is quite solid: a real depression-era hobo teams up with an upper-class gentleman who is also riding the rails but for reasons we don't quite understand. The two of them get along well although there is some tension between them as they take their good-natured class warfare on the road. Presumably more episodes of the show follow their adventures through the back roads of America.
