Algiers, the land of shimmering sands and the hot desert sun. Corporal Victor played by Herbert Marshall returns to barracks with only eight survivors left in his platoon. He is introduced to the lovely Lady Venetia, Olivia De Havilland from England. The problem is the little French Algerian girl who runs the café bar is in love with him and he seems to be showing an interest in Lady Venetia. |
