Plot | : | + The Lux Radio Theatre. September 20, 1937. "The Outsider". Sponsored by: Lux. A non-doctor claims he can make cripples walk again through the use of a painful "rack." The daughter of a famous doctor submits herself to his treatment. Milton H. Berry, famous non-doctor therapist who works with cripples, is interviewed. + Anton Regatzi played by Frederick March, believes he can cure cripples by a method which normal doctors do not approve of. He demonstrates his method to a group of doctors and proves his point by having a lady patient who was told by this same group of doctors that she would never walk again, but here in this demonstration she walks. Even so, he and his theories are not approved of by the Royal College of Surgeons. His only hope is that he can make the crippled daughter of one of the leading surgeons, walk. |
