| Plot | : | + The Lux Radio Theatre. November 1, 1937. "A Free Soul". Sponsored by: Lux. The daughter of a drunken lawyer marries a gangster but continues to remain "a free soul." MGM fashion designer "Adrian" is interviewed. The intermission guest is William A. Brady, a producer from New York City, with a delightful look back at the good old days. + Jan is a free spirit with a mind of her own and a Father Stephen Ashe who is a brilliant lawyer with a tendency for the bottle. When her Father introduces her to Ace Wilfong a gambler and gangster at first her father isn't worried until she decides she wants to marry him. He tries to persuade her not to and Jan makes a deal with her father that she will give up the man she loves because her father thinks he is bad for her if he will give up the thing he loves, drink because she knows it is killing him. |
