See cat. #92643 for a rehearsal recording of this program. + Lux present a play of the 1943 RKO hit this Land Is Mine and stars Charles Laughton as Albert Lory the same role he played in the picture. Albert Lory is a teacher at a school in German-occupied France who finds himself drawn into the actions of the resistance. After an ammunition train is blown up by the resistance he is arrested by the Germans who promise him freedom if he is willing to collaborate with them against France. |
