Plot | : | + The Lux Radio Theatre. November 20, 1944. "It Started With Eve". Sponsored by: Lux. A sophisticated comedy about a dying old man who is introduced to a stranger as his son's fiance. Complications ensue when the old codger decides not to die. Susanna Foster sings a spectacular "Russian Lullaby." The last few seconds of the credits have been deleted. Possibly a rehearsal recording. The story was produced on The Lux Video Theatre on March 29, 1956. + A comedy story of a young man caught between two sweethearts and a much too energetic father who insists on complicating matters. Charles Laughton stars as Jonathan Reynolds in his original 1941 screen roll, Suzanna Foster as Anne and Dick Powell as Johnny Reynolds Jr. Finishes with a Thanksgiving message from Cecil B.
