It is 1896, and our story begins in New Orleans, where an attorney is calling with important news for Madame DuLaine. Her granddaughter, Clio DuLaine has arrived into the city, and has taken residence at Rampart Street, at the house where her father was tragically killed when trying to save his wife, Clio's mother, from committing suicide. After his death, the DuLaine's annulled their marriage and exiled Clio and her mother to Paris. And now Clio is back, she intends to exact her plans for revenge... |
