Plot | : | + "Magnificent Obsession". A drama about a love between a ne'er-do-well turned doctor, and a blind woman, wife of the man for whose death he was responsible. The president of the Screen Director's Guild appears in place of screen director John Stall. John Lund speaks on behalf of The Heart Association. The good doctor, Wayne Hudson dies by drowning in the lake beside the sanatorium. Unfortunately for Robert Taylor who plays Robert Merrick he happens to be on the lung machine when they bring Dr. Wayne in, so the staff cannot put him on the lung machine and consequently he dies. Then his widow discovers that the financial situation at the sanatorium is not what it should be. Thanks to the good doctors’ generosity when he was alive. + The unforgettable Lloyd C.
