Plot | : | + Back in the days when vaudeville was alive, the Mecca of all vaudevillians was The Palace Theatre on Broadway, and playing The Palace was the object of all their hopes and ambitions. On the verge of America's entrance into World War I, two talented performers Jo Hayden and Harry Palmer set their sights on playing at The Palace, until Harry receives his draft notice, and their worlds are turned upside down. Judy Garland and Gene Kelly reprise their 1942 roles from the movie. Screen Guild Players present Journey for Margaret Metro Goldwyn Meyer’s 1942 production of W. L. White’s deeply moving story of England’s war orphaned children. It stars Robert Young as John Davis, Anita Louise as his wife Nora Davis, 6 year old Margaret O’Brien as Margaret and 4 year old Billy Severn as Peter. All but Anita Louise reprise their original screen roles. |
