| Plot | : | + ABC net, WLS-Chicago aircheck. "Cry In The Night". A drama based on the famous murder of Kitty Genovese that took place on March 13, 1964. Despite a woman's screams as she's being attacked, nobody in the neighborhood comes out to help. The story is told from the perspective of an older couple who witness the crime from their window. + Bessie and Otto have lived in the Brooklyn neighborhood for 20 years and earned a living from the shop. Now Bessie is complaining that the neighborhood isn’t what it used to be, that the new people moving to the area are not the same when a scream for help penetrates the air. Otto wants to investigate and help but Bessie tells him not to interfere however Otto cannot sleep listening to someone obviously being harmed. |
