| Plot | : | + "Mirror, Mirror On The Wall". A beautifully-written story about a woman's old enemy who becomes a friend, and of his gifts that are hated, but eventually welcomed! Martha Scott is excellent; great radio! + It is the night before Emily's 40th Birthday and she has an unwelcome visit from "Father Time" who brings her a gift of grey hairs. Unable to accept the prospect of ageing Emily dyes her hair but each year on her birthday she is presented with a new ageing gift. It is not until she reaches the age of 75 that widowed Emily is finally able to accept that Father time her old enemy has been a friendly enemy all along. Well there's one thing that's certain, we're all going to get old. May as well just accept it cheerfully and enjoy it! |
