Title | : | tim meets jump jump |
Air Date | : | 11.22.1948 |
Plot | : | + Program #1. Harry S. Goodman syndication. Music fill for local commercial insert. The program is referred to as, "Jump Jump Of Holiday House" (without the hyphen) on the Harry S. Goodman cue sheets. The discs themselves hyphenate the name. The three performers each play several roles. The dates for each program indicate the first year the programs were syndicated. When the programs were broadcast in subsequent years, the dates were set so that episode 25 was heard on Christmas Eve. The Jump-Jump character is the same little elf heard in the "Jump-Jump Of Holiday House" programs. Tim, a little orphan decides to set off and follow the North Star to the North Pole so that he can ask Santa if he plans to visit everyone at Christmas. He sets off in to the woods and after walking for some time he lays down to rest and just as he is getting comfortable something taps him on his knee. It was the tiny little elf Jump Jump who jumps up and down, backwards and forwards and sideways and who talks so funny and so fast that you can’t understand him all the time. |
