Once upon a time in the magic land just west of the singing river a very poor miller man died. To his eldest son Thomas he left his mill, to the next one Benjamin a team of oxen. There was nothing lest for Eric the youngest son but a sleek cat with unusually bright eyes called Buttons. During the height of his success on the Great Gildersleeve Peary was commissioned by Capitol Records to make a recording of stories especially for children in his character of “Gildy.” Puss In Boots was the first track on the first album released in the Fall of 1945. |
