Quiz shows have always been great fun. Although the listeners are not in the running for the prize, they can have a lot of fun competing against the contestants in the studio. John Williams billed himself as “Radio’s original question and answer man” on The Ask It Basket. The four contestants were selected from the studio audience and went through increasingly difficult rounds until a winner remained to receive the $25 prize.
