A reporter for the Intergalactic News Service named "Whitey Ford," blackmails his way abroad. After a visit to Mars, the ship is hit by a meteor and destroyed. Only 4 survivors are cast into space. The reporter gets into a space suit and retrieves a life boat. + The year 2370 three centuries since man first moved from the confines of earth in to the vast expanses of the universe. Space flight is no longer limited to scientists and adventurers but is available to everyone on regular laid scheduled commercial ships. News is no longer a global affair but originates in a thousand far flung ports along the space ways. |
