Arthur C. Clarke is one of the most important figures in Science Fiction. An eerily prescient futurist, Clarke, along with Heinlein and Isaac Asimov makeup Sci Fi’s “big three”. Clarke is best known today for co writing the screenplay for 2001: A Space Odyssey. As far back as 1975, Clarke envisioned a system of linking computers around the world. Today, we have the Internet.
