I remember hearing this on broadcast in the late 1950s or early 60s. It is my favorite old time radio broadcast. The only thing close is a broadcast of H.P. Lovecraft's, "The Crypt."

In your description of the episode, you used this line: "Ah, Lulungameena, the very name sounds like magic!" That line is quite close to a line in the introductory dialog: "Ah, Lulungameena, the very name sounds like music!" I think the line you used is either a typo or a misquote. Best wishes.
