I'm really enjoying the heck out of these, but this might be the best of the first couple of dozen I've listened to. Mark Clifton didn't achieve much fame, and the only thing I've read of his is "They'd Rather Be Right," decades ago, and I don't even remember it. Co-winner of the second Hugo Award for best novel, though.

A little more research tells me that "They'd Rather Be Right" is thought by many to be the worst-ever Hugo winner, so there's that.
