Mary was only six at the time so she does not remember much about the beauty that was on the surface. Now Mary was doing a study on the enemy at the university and for the last six months had been talking to Joe the only captured enemy. But now her father feared that she no longer viewed Joe as an enemy. He warned her that traitors are taken up to the surface and before they reach it they are affected by so much radiation they will die. |
