This story does fall prey to some early sci-fi cliches, such as the hysterical female and the angry, selfish man who is all too ready to kill. However this episode does cast a sort of spell over me in that it evokes a post-holocaust environment and the situation of each character vividly, and its use of music is very effective. Each actor is fully invested in their roles, and do the best they can with the difficult script.
