It's a shame that there's only one episode. It's a touching story about a widower and his nine year old son. The boy's mother died during birth. Now, it's nine years later and the father is about to remarry but his son resents the woman who will become his 'new mother'. Gradually, the boy comes to accept and love her. Had subsequent episodes been produced, I believe this could have been one of radio's long running soaps. The series was supposed to present one complete story per episode.
