Abies Irish Rose is a family sitcom that aired on NBC radio for two years, from January 24, 1942 to September 2, 1944. It served as a replacement another show entitled Knickerbocker Playhouse.
It told the story of Abie and Rosemary Levy, a couple of Jewish and Catholic descent. The two married despite the disputes of their respective families. Abie Levy, the show's main character, was portrayed various actors including Richard Bond, Bud Collyer, Richard Coogan, and Sydney Smith.
