The plots on any Soap Opera can get a little out of hand at times, but few twist as fast or as much as they did on Betty and Bob. Star crossed lovers who marry and finally have a baby, only to lose the boy to pneumonia. The couple drift apart as the family fortune dries up. He winds up in the mental hospital then stumbles through affair after affair, while an investor in her dress shop who can give her everything finds he is smitten with the pretty young lady.
